Here is an AVI of a Lego Card Sorting machine I made.  OK, it's just the very first phase: getting the cards one by one off the top of the deck.  Still, that took me a while, so it feels like quite an accomplishment.  I'm using all Technic pieces (not the original Technic, the new Technic with no studs) and it's a whole different ball game making things with those pieces. But I'm starting to get the hang of it.
